Non è blu di Prussia
Meditation of colors
For this series of artworks, I wanted to figure out if colors could create a rhythm like notes while cutting and applying pieces of fabric a selection of colors has become a sort of meditation. Then I decided to listen to the music and let it influence the sequence and direction of the waves, lines, and colors.
After all, it seemed too clean, too perfectly in order and it wasn’t reflecting me personally so i decided to add a splash of contrasting color to make it look finished.
Now it is. Enjoy.
Made with cotton, jersey fabrics and contrasting silk pieces, acrylic colors and epoxy resin on MDF panel; Ø 60 cm; Como; 2018/2019
