If I were to define with one term Nataliya, I would define her as an eclectic, in the arts as in life, for her ability to choose between different doctrines what is related to it and its mastery of harmonizing it in a new synthesis. For opponents of eclecticism, this method constitutes an uncritical and incoherent mixture of theoretical and figurative elements of different and sometimes contradictory origin, but Nataliya’s style is something very different from syncretism in its most negative meaning.
Born in Kushka in Turkmenistan on the border with Afghanistan, Ukrainian nationality. Her father was a medical colonel of the soviet army, her mother is a mechanical engineer. She sees light on December 31, last day of the year, though will be recorded on the first of January. Since childhood she traveled a lot following her father’s moves, from Turkmenistan to Mongolia, than to Ukraine.
In 1989 the fall of the Berlin Wall, the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Ukraine finally reached independence in 1992. In 2009, his father dies for a heart attack. At 19 he comes to Italy, in Naples, where he has stopped for five years learning Italian perfectly (it’s not easy to learn Italian in Naples!). Here she experiences fitodesign, Ikebana and web design.

She recently worked as a sales manager at the Robertaebasta Gallery of Art and Antiques in Milan. In the field of art and painting Nataliya is totally self-taught by not having attended specialized schools or courses. This condition has given her a great sence of freedom in dealing with the canvas, which, together with her innate curiosity for pictorial techniques and her web navigator skills, has enabled her to learn all the tricks of the craft immediately.
In the last period, exploiting her sartorial and eclectic talents, Nataliya has devoted herself to making artworks with unusual mixed technique consisting in cutting and applying fragments of textiles made in Como on painted with acrylic colors board finished with glossy two-component epoxy resin . In some of her paintings feels the influence of Russian constructivism in addition to the obvious preference for graphics.
In many works the themes mingle or overlap, so that seemingly abstract works, to a more careful observation, have phytoomorphic and/or zoomorphic parts, landscapes with the insertion of graphic parts or the presence of graphs. The colors, always very vivid and juxtaposed, create prospective depth and opening effects. In October 2016 held her first bi-personal at the Sikania wine shop in Milan «In Art Hour» with artist Filippo Furnari. Later she became a member of the Circus Culture and Art of Como and participated in the first «Secret Island» plain air on Comacina Island, Lake Como in June 2017.
